A Fabulous February with the launch of Banks Mill Makers' Markets 2026

What a fantastic first Saturday of the month for February's Makers Market at @banksmillstudios 🎉 my first sale was a pair of totally unique, one off silver mint leaves... Photo? No, of course I don't have one 😂

I shared the foyer with @jenny.marshall.arts who chatted away whilst painting 🖌️

@stage_left_lux lit the way as he dashed about being the perfect host 💡 @thevelvetvillage adorned the walls, whilst residing in her studio to welcome visitors along with @the_house_of_lateeque ✨ @albert_arthur_animations helped with banners and welcomed people to the top floor whilst @everything_is_doom_and_gloom moved into her bigger studio, showing success in action 🖤 It was great to also see @frecklecreativeed as she flung her studio door open for a while and fabulous to chat with @nataliesimsrees as she danced around with new pieces of pottery on the go 💃🏼 and @greendoorstudios were alive with experimental print making... Thanks for the purrr chase 🐈

So many local creatives and news outlets shared our event and we even had a local journalist from @derbyworld1 visit to check out our first market of the year 👀 It was great to discover that Ria loves a DIPA and I had the perfect pin badge for that 🍻

My only wish would have been for me to remember to take more photos... Of my fellow creatives and my own creations, especially those one off pieces you'll never know about 🙈 Feel free to send me photos of your visit and/or your purchases, they would be most welcome 🤗

The next Banks Mill Makers Market is March 7th... I'll be back at BMMM in April after a birthday beer break 🍻🩷
